We're just a five minute walk to the Village of Lake Placid, the beach at Mirror Lake and the Paradox Boat landing on Lake Placid Lake. A ten minute drive will take you to the High Peaks Wilderness Area, the St. Regis Canoe area, and world class flyfishing on the Ausable River. Further afield you can explore Montreal and the Lake Champlain valley.
