2011 LAKE PLACID IRONMAN TRIATHLON

The Lake Placid Retreat is just a 10 minute walk to the starting line of the Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon, one of Ironman USA's premiere events. We host teams of triathletes every year from all over the country. Our proximity to the Mirror Lake swimming stage as well as biking and running stages makes us an ideal training location. In addition, we are just up the hill from the Mirror Lake Inn's spa facilities which offer a variety of treatments for all kinds of tired muscles. Please note, Ironman week tends to book as much as a year in advance, so please plan accordingly. During Ironman we rent for the full week only. The rate for Ironman 2011 is $4900 for the week. We also have an Ironman training package special--Ironman week plus one 3-night long non-holiday weekend in May or June. Total for the package is $5600. Ironman Lake Placid is typically held at the beginning of the fourth week of July. We anticipate the 2011 event will be July 24th. You may book the Ironman week now and firm up dates after the committee anounces final dates. During Ironman we rent by the full week only.
