The Lake Placid
Retreat is just a 10 minute walk to the starting line of the Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon, one of Ironman USA's premiere events. We host teams of triathletes every year from all over the country. Our proximity to the Mirror Lake swimming stage as well as biking and running stages makes us an ideal training location. In addition, we are just up the hill from the Mirror Lake Inn's spa facilities which offer a variety of treatments for all kinds of tired muscles. Please note, Ironman week tends to book as much as a year in advance, so please plan accordingly. During Ironman we rent for the full week only. The rate for Ironman 2009 is $4900 for the week. The dates for the 2009 Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon will be July 19th, 2009. During Ironman we rent by the full week only.
